Tbf though he plays the ball later than anyone else in the side. Great players of the moving ball always doYes that's the point. Its depressing.

Nah I remember that game. Anderson and Broad were bowling at a higher level than this (though not to the heights they hit in 2011, that was just outlandishly good). This is more just good, solid seam bowling rather than hand grenades. This feels a lot like than Manchester test in 2014 where India were 6-4 or something. Batsmen just aren't up to handling this kind of bowling.
For indias sake I hope this is just Anderson being hax. The others have looked fine but definitely way easier to negotiate.
He will just make sweet 30's and 40's.Rohit Sharma is, by a distance, the best player of the moving ball in this lineup.
Prove me wrong.
I had day 4 tickets for that and your useless batsmen cost me my summer day out. This feels a lot like than Manchester test in 2014 where India were 6-4 or something. Batsmen just aren't up to handling this kind of bowling.

Bloke's always been a shocking starter, no? It's whether he gets through it in one piece.Man Rahane looks a shadow of the bloke who made that great ton in Melbourne less than a year ago. What’s going on with him?
That doesn’t disprove the point tbfWhat's your bet guys
He will just make sweet 30's and 40's.
I knew there would be a silver lining to that defeat ?I had day 4 tickets for that and your useless batsmen cost me my summer day out.
Think we've seen enough examples of great batsmen having late career second winds that actually last long enough to turn into actual second peaks to not write him off so soon tbf.Kohli's last 11 Tests (well, ten-and-a-half) have produced just 414 runs at 23, with no centuries and seven single-figure scores - during which time his career average has dropped from 55 to 51. While it's reasonable to assume he is past his absolute peak now, he's so good that I still keep thinking that a monster innings from him is just around the corner. But is it really?
Yeah, agreed - and really I just wanted to put it out there to pretty much guarantee 250* in his next knock.Think we've seen enough examples of great batsmen having late career second winds that actually last long enough to turn into actual second peaks to not write him off so soon tbf.
Much more helpful conditions than today tbf. Was pretty green.Nah I remember that game. Anderson and Broad were bowling at a higher level than this (though not to the heights they hit in 2011, that was just outlandishly good). This is more just good, solid seam bowling rather than hand grenades.
In that game you could call India getting bowled out for ****-all after about five balls.
Of course it is, the bloke's top class, but at the moment the Burnley Express has him in his pocketKohli's last 11 Tests (well, ten-and-a-half) have produced just 414 runs at 23, with no centuries and seven single-figure scores - during which time his career average has dropped from 55 to 51.
