Haas back to 14 in the world after his performances this week, would be amazing to see him back in the top 10 again.

I swear he does it deliberately, the form he's in he could make the top 8 at the end of the year. His biggest problem though is the slams and playing long matches. Even against Ferrer he smashed him in the first set but ran out of steam.

Haha indeed.

Piss poor effort from Giles Simon. Can't believe France lost to Argentina without Delpo playing.

Tough place to play away. Nasty crowd.

Don't really get why they didn't pick Gasquet either.

Czechs to beat Argentina on an ice rink in the semi.

Yeah Gasquet has been in good form. Very confusing.

Then again France lost a Davis Cup by picking Llodra in a final not long ago. Seem to often have questionable selections at times.

Jeez Novak seriously spanked Rafa in that first set.

Is Rafa about to lose his first ever monte Carlo masters match? Novak playing like a beast!

Yeah you'd think he's still not 100% and you'd still have him favourite (he lost Madrid and Rome to Novak in 2011 and still went on to win the French) but that was a significant win for Novak. He will believe he can beat Rafa anytime anywhere now.

The first set was domination but to me the second set was more significant. Rafa led by a break twice, served for the set at 6-5 and got broken to love. He then got bitchslapped in the tiebreak.

Laura Robson and Heather Watson have both struggled a bit after flying up the rankings at the end of last year, but Robson was very impressive beating Agnieska Radwanska 6-3 6-1 today.

Tomic's old man "under investiagtion" for allegedly twatting his son's hitting partner, according to the Beeb.

Must be something about emigrees to Oz from the former Yugoslavia; Dokic's father was a full on loon too, wasn't he?
Its embarrassing stuff. At least Dokic looked like she was an okay chick. The Tomic father and son double team is fairly brutal.
