International 12th Man

And Manages a Way to lose, DF on BP

Great Guts shown by Nole, Don't know how much he'll have left for tomorrow

Didn't watch either match last night.

That Novak match with Murray sounded incredible.

When the **** will he lose? Tonight?

God mens tennis ats feels predictable. I know it's because they're ultra-good rather than the others being hacks, but every ****ing tournament is going towards a Novak/Rafa final.

Scary thing is, half the season hasn't even past yet Novak has more points this season than he had last season.

In other news, Sammy makes the woman's final. She's back baby!

Surely this clay season is the least predictable its been in 5 years though?

So yes, we may have only two guys who could possibly win these tournaments. But that's better than only having one guy!

Agree with regards to the hard court season earlier in the year.

Haha that's true.

Who doesn't want to watch the two best players in the world play in the final? Especially now that Djokovic is mowing down Nadal in the rankings.

Yeah definitely. Especially when they are playing ripping matches.

Also JMDP is just starting to get some momentum. Give him a few more months and he'll be playing late in most tournaments.

This Djokovic run isn't getting enough play in the media. Hopefully, that will change if he does claim the number one ranking. For a guy who's played in the Federer/Nadal era, he's on the verge of carving out his own place in tennis history. That's extraordinarily impressive, IMO. The media would be all over this if it were Roger.

And he takes it 6-4 6-4.

No "fast clay" excuses now.

The guy had played a huge match the previous night, and came back the next day to smash Nadal in straight sets in a clay court final again.

He is just unbelievable.

****ing Djokovic, why does he have to be so good? Not even Fed circa 2006 was beating Rafa on clay.

Makes me wonder - will he lose this season?

Not really a Box Head fan, but if it results in Nadal's tenure at number one being shortened and will stop any historical comparison between his and Fed's records, it can only be a good thing.

Just...wow

So so so good.

Has Nadal ever looked or felt so clueless against anyone on clay? Just incredible tennis. Hard to believe it's only 2 weeks into May and he's already won 7!! titles for the year. Incredible as the run is though, I can't help but wonder what happens to his confidence etc. etc. if Nadal wins the open in 3 weeks time? Novak will almost certainly be the favourite, but I can't bring myself to write-off Captain crotch-pick in a 5 set match on clay just yet.

Federer beat Rafa a couple of times on clay, which is as many victories as Novak now has over him on that surface.
