im with you blewy, i cant believe anyone would want Serena to beat Sharapova!
After watching all of their match, I wonder even more what you think is so good about Sharapova. She's got the longest bloody arms i've ever seen.

The match I have been waiting for right from the beginning of the tournament has just started ladies and gentlemen.

And so it begins...

Let's hope for a top match. I love both players, but will be backing Safin as I backed Federer last year. :)

I have backed Federer ever since he wont the Wimbledon quarters against Sampras at such a young age.

Safin is a class player who hasnt achieved a lot in his career. So GO SAFIN! in this one.

I hope Safin can finally perform in a major tournament
What do you mean? He won the US Open in 2000 and reached the Aus Open final twice. Last year he was amazing beating Roddick and Agassi in consecutive 5 setters.

I don't know your definition of performing, but that's performing in my book.

What is the Federer-Safin head to head, possibly with break ups?

Safin is 25 and this could become one of the better rivalries in the history of tennis.

Brilliant tennis being played right now.

Some good comments made by Vijay Amritraj on commentary :-

"Federer is looking more normal in this match." :)

"Is it just me or does Safin seem to chase Federer every game, whole match."

"Even Federer can be beaten with even more brilliance."

Safin has played some awesome tennis and has held his own. Not even Agassi can claim to have done that in the last couple of years.
