I always knew she had ability, but admittedly I never rated her very highly until I saw her today. Some brilliant tennis with a sweet serve. She'll have to be at her best to beat Davenport though.

And I'll be up all night if necessary to watch this beaut

Coria is worrying me. IMO he needs to close this match ASAP and beat Nalbandian in 3 sets, 4 at the most. Because I don't see him lasting 5 with his groin injury.

I tipped Coria, and am thus supporting him, but Nalbandian winning would probably be better for the tournament. If Coria goes in against Hewitt injured, its goodnight.

more like good morning!
its midnight and this match isnt gonna finish anytime soon...
im predicting nalbandian in 5 sets here, mainly because ill be 1st in the tipping comp if he wins, and 3rd if he loses...

Lol, that was hilarious. My mum was watching, and I was supporting Nadal, so she decided to as well. Anyway Hewitt hit an awesome shot for a point and she starts cheering and I'm like "That Was Hewitt"

Speaking of atire, boy did Venus Williams have one flashy ring on tonight. Whenever she raised her hand to wipe sweat off her face it brightened up the screen.

It is really good to see players fighting it out when they are down and out and have an injury. More than can be said for some other over-rated players who get a mention around Grand Slam tennis time.

Top effort by Nalbandian. He looked down and out in the 2nd, and I thought he wasn't taking enough advantage of Coria's groin injury, but he won it easily in the end. Top effort. Hewitt vs. Nalbandian should be good.

All the matches left should be good. Federer v Agassi tonight will be excellent.

roddick should beat davydenko easily, but even davydenko hasnt lost a set in the tournament.. federer is still the clear favourite, but if he goes, any number of players could win it...

yeah that was pretty annoying, one of them could have at least worn a different coloured hat/ headband - though nadal's 3/4ers gave me a laugh.

Serena Wiliams eases past Maureso. The women's division is looking pretty good now. Serena vs. Sharapova and Molik vs. Davenport. Both top games.

Its not as annoying if you moan (why does this word come up so often aaagh) or shout while you are hitting a shot and top.

But she carries on almost overlapping when the opponent is about to hit a shot.

And I thought no one could beat Seles as the loudness of the moaning.

I think the problem is its not even a moan, its becoming a scream which is just irritating.

As I post this Safin DESTROYS Hrbaty, and doesn't even look that happy after the victory. Boy he's in good form, and hasn't played much tennis (compared to 2004 when he was absolutely buggered after playing Roddick & Agassi in 5 set marathons).
