Don't see him getting past Murray, has started this season in similar form to the way he finished 2008. Has a brilliant chance of winning the Australian open, in fact I would put him equal favourite with Federer at this stage.

Wozniacki knocked out in the quarter-final last night, and any hopes of a competitive final go out the window.

Dementieva through to the final with a 6-2 6-2 win over Rezai, Keothavong and Vesnina fighting it out for the chance to be thrashed in the final AWS.

should be 2 decent semis in Doha today, Federer-Murray should be interesting I reckon Federer should take this one, they've both had pretty easy routes to the semi and i think Federer will be more able to step up his game to the higher level.

Murray looking in good nick just now, it must be said. Last year at a set & three break-points down I reckon he'd have had a paddy and imploded, but he managed to serve his way out of it.

Probably **** his back up in time for the Oz Open now tho. 8-)

More that Federer isn't good enough any more imo.
Yeah.

In 2005 and 2006 when Federer was clearly better than Nadal, yet kept losing to him on hard court, that was an example of someone having the wood over him.

Now, Murray is just the equal or better player atm.

Gasquet vs. Stepanek getting a bit rough atm. Good to see.

Stepanek is such a nerd though. There's looking neat, and then there's being a geek. Untuck your shirt FFS. No idea what Martina Hingis used to see in him lol.

it is also a case of him improving tremendously....either way it doesn't matter, he is still one of the select few to have a winning record against federer and that is significant...
Nadal obviously has a winning record, and I know Gilles Simon is 2-0 vs. Roger. Along with Murray, I wonder how many others there are.

I went to the Gasquet Tsonga match last night. It was the first competive match I've ever been to.

Excellent mathc, Tsonga was impressive in the first, so in the second I starting going for Gasquet as I didn't want it to end quickly. In the third I had no idea who to go for but Gasquet was just too classy.

Havent heard about him before ..hope he reach finals and then go on to win it

but dont know how long he will keep this up..if he wins will he get inot main draw of aus open
Nope, he'll get to #138 in the world, only the top 104 get to the main draw.

He'll probably be seeded in the qualifying though. Might even get a wild card the way he's going.

just watching the final now, looks like Murray will take it out in straight sets.

Whats with the court colour though, its really bad for picking the ball up on tv, must be something to do with sponsors?
