***Official*** T20 Champions League in South Africa

That was savage hitting by Kulatunga. This man in the WC squad is a no-brainer. But somehow selectors keep ignoring him. May be thinking too long in tooth to play.

Kulatunga, gone for 59(44), super knock under the circumstances. Bring Thisara Perera in, and if he fires score will be over 160

Wayamba finished with 153 for 9 in 50 overs, not a big total

I think it's 60-40 winning chance for Warriors

Provided that Warriors don't get castled by Mendis. Most of the batsmen will be facing Mendis for the first time.

Warriors begins with a great start, 37/1 in 4.2 overs. Eventhough they lost an early wicket, their runrate is around 9.00

Brilliant batting by Jacobs & Ingram. They just need only 85 runs from 75 balls with 9 wickets remaining. Should be a easy win for them hereafter until something dramatic happens

Congrats to Warriors!!! They won the match comfortably by 7 wickets in the 19th over. It was great team effort, everyone chipped in. Boucher & Kreusch finished off the match in style.

ICC consider adding this tournament under ICC tournaments (Creating a window in FTP) & should remove Champions Trophy for good. Organizers should also create more organized & fixed format so the fans can follow it blindly not worrying abt new format every year & new fans can also easily understand.

I suggest this format (from 8 Main nations):

Group A:
Chennai Super Kings (Ind 20/20 W)
Guyana (W.IND 20/20 W)
Somerset (ENG 20/20 R.Up)
Faisalabad Wolves (Pak 20/20 R.up)

Group B:
Victorian Bush Rangers (Aus 20/20 W)
Central Districts Stags (NZL 20/20 W)
Highveld Lions (SAF 20/20 R.Up)
Ruhuna (SRL 20/20 R.Up)

Group C:
Warriors (SAF 20/20 W)
Wayamba Elevens (SRL 20/20 W)
Southern Redbacks (Aus 20/20 R.Up)
Auckland Aces (NZL 20/20 R.Up)

Group D:
Hampshire Royals (Eng 20/20 W)
Sialkot Stallions (Pak 20/20 W)
Mumbai Indians (Ind 20/20 R.Up)
Barbados (W.IND 20/20 R.Up)

Groups > Quarters > Semis > Final = Below 20 Days

Definitely Champions Trophy should be removed. It is not worth a trophy these days after the advent of T20

Let's be fair, an IPL team has their range of stars and the rest of relatively unknown domestic players (like most of the other teams) and those players are going to struggle in foreign conditions.

No team will have 11 players who are the best.

They already played IPL in South Africa, so it should help them.

Out of the 7 home players, we have Dhoni, Raina, Ashwin are match winners and Murali Vijay & Badrinath are moderate players players

Who are Chennai's foreign players??

Hayden, Kemp, A. Morkel, Murali and Bollinger???

To me thats a good group to choose from. Add your top Indian players as well.

Can't wait to see how the Durban track will play. If its true and fast as usual...we may see plenty of boundaries.
