I don't thik we'll see Kaspa selected for the one dayers. Tait will take his spot.aussie said:my team for the ODI's
1. Gilchrist
2. Clarke
3. Ponting
4. Martyn
5. Symonds
6. Hodge
7. Hussey
8. Watson/tait (it depends if Australia want the all-rond option or the pure 4th seamer)
9. Hogg
10. Lee
11. Kasper
12. McGrath
also i think form what i have seen of Hodge this year i think he would make a better ODI player than Katich thus i would pick him.
If you're going to play Watson at 8, you may as well select a specialist bowler.aussie said:my team for the ODI's

well with Dizzy out of form Lee/Pigeon/Tait/kaspa seems the likely 4 seamers with Hogg & Symo partime....Mister Wright said:I don't thik we'll see Kaspa selected for the one dayers. Tait will take his spot.
Yeah, good point. However, I think Hopes will become a regular member of the squad from now on. He can easily play as a specialist bowler, and has the advantage of being a more than handy batsman.aussie said:well with Dizzy out of form Lee/Pigeon/Tait/kaspa seems the likely 4 seamers with Hogg & Symo partime....
yea thats true i liked the look of his bowling in NZ early this year, but for Australia's sake i hope Dizzy can bounce back VERY soon.....Mister Wright said:Yeah, good point. I am surprised that bowlers and keepers dont have a signalling system working between them nowadays.twctopcat said:I hope Boucher learns to pick Murali's wrong-un pretty soon or we could have some Geraint-esque spills on our hands.
Well Vaughan can't be picked now that Smith has been made captain, I guess.shaka said:Ul Haq will be starting to feel better, Tendulkar is an injury concern for the world XI and so Vaughan and Ul haq are on standby. May go some way in erasing the shock and horror over not being picked in the 11 from the beginning. Then again only 11 players can be picked.
Signalling systems would be picked up in no time.SJS said:I am surprised that bowlers and keepers dont have a signalling system working between them nowadays.
It was shocking to see Dhoni clueless with Harbhajan's doosra's.
Exactly, that enforces my point further. In the Tsunami charity match Kumar was keeping correct everytime even when Lara wasn't picking it!SJS said:I am surprised that bowlers and keepers dont have a signalling system working between them nowadays.

Well i personally think he should have been ahead of him anyway.....and i will never understand why they had to pick Gibbs over Inzy, what hasnt Inzy done lately which they have done????honestbharani said:I think INzy has a fair chance to get in both sides for Sachin, but we will have to wait and see.
The keepers usually do know which bowl will be the doosra usually. Whether its by some signalling system or conversation with the keeper or slip I do not know.SJS said:I am surprised that bowlers and keepers dont have a signalling system working between them nowadays.
