RE prize money in the Ashes, not sure, but you can bet Flintoff, Pietersen, Vaughan, Harmison, Jones etc made more off endorsments after the hype of that series than tonight's winners will

By that series I mean 05 obv
According to website Life Style Extra, Jones "has transformed women's interest in the summer sport with his chiselled jaw and testosterone."

That is one quality endorsement.

Actually looking forwards to the game tonight. Probably because it's been a couple of months since England played an international - I know this isn't one but it's close enough, and it'll whet my appetite ahead of the India series. Also, the missus is out tonight, always good to have something decent to watch in peace when she's not here.

Will watch, but struggling to get it up for the game still. If it was England v the Windies it would at least have some vague meaning beyond the lucre, but The Stanford Superstars? GTFO.

I'm not sure that I know what chiselled testosterone looks like. However I'm sure it's what Mrs Z loves best about me

Wright only seems to have held onto his place over the past year or so simply because he hasn't had much of a chance to do anything wrong.
This is a shrewd observation. As a fairly one-eyed Sussex fan I'd love to be able to disagree with you, but frankly I struggle to see a place for him in the Sussex team let alone the England team itbt.

The fact that he's in ahead of Anderson just underlines the skewed priorities which T20 demands - ie some quick slogging is more valuable that wicket-taking bowling

True that, although TBF Jimmy hasn't done a lot in the shorter games this year. And I for one couldn't give a **** as he's finally become a gun Test bowler.

Spot the millionaire - Flintoff looks chilled, the rest of the England boys look like they're crapping themselves

Good to see a lot of interest here at CW :p

Middlesex V T & T was more popular....and Shah is out. Abysmal shot.

THE two icons of English cricket come together at the crease.

If England win this the top three should get approximately zero, or at the very least be forced to give the money to me

Oh Kevin, there goes Jessica's Xmas present!!!

Abysmal stuff from England, they mustn't want the money after all

Clearly England so annoyed at Stanford, they're making sure this will be a total non-event walk-over.
