One of two people have alluded to it earlier - if some super-rich middle-aged guy wants some 20-odd-year-old women, he can pretty well have 'em - there's always plenty out there who'll throw themselves at guys like Stanford all day long. Doesn't need to hold a multi-million dollar cricket tournament to ensure such a thing.

That post of mine was more in jest than anything else, but i seriously think that the incident is not only a bizarre one, but also a pretty shameful one, i mean what sort of a man would make one of the wives of a player who is playing in the worthless tournament of yours to sit on his lap like that, now that's such a ****ing disgraceful thing to do by Stanford especially considering so many people were watching it live.

Just seen a clip of an interview with Steve Harmison on BBC in which he said "The way things are going 20/20 is taking over" - his only other comment had been to say of the tournament "...it isn't real cricket" and then correct himself immediately nd say "..... it is real cricket" - is Mr Stanford employing a hypnotist or a ventriloquist?

Exactly my thoughts, though i feel for them in Stanford-WAG incident because that was something really embarrassing and no one deserves that sort of thing, but the English players are now making all theses complaints regarding the tournament, i mean as Gelman said its their and their board' fault, they should have made sure what they jumping into before signing a contract with Stanford, but obviously they were blinded by the thought of all that money at that time, but there is no point whinging about it now.

That's Stanford's thing. If you look at pics from games played a few months back just between Carribean teams, they're all black also.

They're Stanford's own distinctive bats. He makes everyone use them for all of his tournaments.
