day night test during the festival of lights would be a world class cricket experience. not for crowd size obv, but atmosphere, especially if the light artists were allowed to do something with the ground itself on the square boundaries. boxing day test as well perhaps, with the racecourse being a walk through the back of the park away for the races.

Another JAMODI series in the bag looks like. Will be great if they give next game to Umran Shahbaz & hand debut to Patidar. Umran for some weird reasons was benched despite doing well vs SL. Might be regular in T20 stuff though.

Yup the big concern was always going to be the bowling, but the top 6 have been shocking.Take out Conway/Kane’s efforts and Phillips’ crazy knock they didn’t do that well in Pakistan either. Guess Young and Chapman should get some opportunities but overall really need to tighten up.

Looking at the wider list of all venues used for FC and ListA throws up some random venues. Apparently the State Shield final in 02/03 was played at North Harbour Stadium. First class cricket at Dannevirke Domain and in Moteuka would be cool.

Shipley doesn't look suited to this format or this country. Great height but not quick and seems a bit KJ at home and KJ also struggles at ODIs.
