Just said to an Aussie mate as Nicholls came out to bat that this guy is hopeless. Having watched him bat for 20 balls to get 2 runs before departing
he said to me ''you know what, I think you're right''.

Nicholls has pretty much fallen off a cliff in the last 2-3 years (at least when not assisted by opposition fielders).

Yeah there’s no need to paint him as a complete write off in ODIs, but picking him in the format when in the midst of a lean trot in tests does him no favours.

Re Nicholls, at least it is happening now. It would be worse if Kane was injured at the World Cup. Still question marks over Allen and even Mitchell.

There are some big opportunities re CWC for Chapman, Young, and Ravindra. Huge shame that Foxcroft isn't eligible yet.

Yeah, he got a 170 that really got my attention. Must be time to bring Young back into the fold though when Williamson is out.

Why he is not Eligible? I doubt Gary Stead can disturb with just one Failure of Nicholas in single series
