You didn't ask some questions about the processes BW. You outright accused the ICC for being inconsistent and attempted to draw parallels with the Aus/SA incident as evidence for that. You claimed they were not transparent without even botherig to read the Laws that are in place and easily available to everyone.

That's the issue here. If you're curious, fine, but you came out with an agenda that was built on faulty premises and are now acting as tho that is not what you were doing.

Don't make it sound like 2 hours were lost due to umpires' fault.
Its rare I agree with weldone, but then umpires wouldn't take 2 hours, and if you do believe the umpire causes the delay (@BW),, then why the **** did you say that the umpires should have made SL lose by forfeit ala the England/Pak thing? Clearly SL did nothing wrong and the umpires did the right thing by not calling off the game in that scenario, correct?

Which is back to my original point -we don't know what went on in the dressing rooms. The umpires and match referee did. If they didn't call the game off, I trust they had good reason for doing so, and I will not assume they are being incompetent. not to mention the laws are written to allow for inconsistent application on a case by case basis.

It's a real shame they're getting some poor crowds out there. I realise SL aren't exactly a big-money team but these stadiums are basically empty.

Quality cricket though. This Test in particular has been a real tug-of-war.

hahahahaha omfg, i was just about to say imagine how many wickets gabriel would have if he didn't bowl no balls. and then he gets a wicket on a no ball that's not even a no ball

Can I have my monthly whinge about how umpires aren't consistent with no-ball calls now?

Didn't matter thankfully... brilliant from Gabriel.

This can still become a good test match if it doesn't rain. But it will rain, and the match will be drawn due to losing 2 hours earlier.

Gabriel fast becoming an elite fast bowler or is he already there?Good chance of getting that average under 30 when Bangladesh come around too.

Yeah he is class. Pace, bounce and accuracy. Also has developed the ability to bowl longer spells -when he first came into the side he was gassed after 3 overs.

Superb spell that from Gabriel. Agree that he'll be nasty if he can sort out that pesky no-ball issue. If it wasn't for that West Indies may have already won this match.

Ok, so these West Indians are going to throw their wickets away to Rajitha, just to make me eat my words.

What happened to Darren Bravo? Wasn't he supposed to come back to the team? **** Devon Smith, push Powell up the order and make space for Darren.
