Two of those guys bat for Auckland and we all know how consistent their batting line-up is. Papps would've been playing these tests if he wasn't hurt.

Some nice play by Sri Lanka and great work by Dan for a deserved reward.

I would have declared 1/2 hr after tea if the batting had held it together, and set a target 525 - 550 - but you take what you get, and it may not make much difference.

An interesting 2 days ahead.

Presumably because Jayawardene got hit between his glove and arm guard by Chris Martin and it looked like it hurt a fair deal.
