so are you saying he is rasist agianst black teams?
Note that australia win most of thier matches, and england have a good record recently so boiously those teams would have better record under darrell hair, plus he umpires mostly in australia where australia rarely lose.

Your argument is rediculous to suggest that he favours those 4 teams.

Chaminda, lets discuss these data after this Test , because the Kiwis on this forum will feel we are Harping on about umpiring for ever !!

But I will say this - If Murali had played this Test series, we would have been better off because 1. Our number one strike bowler would have been playing and 2. Hair would not be umpiring for obvious reasons.

Lets leave it at that !! And discuss any future umpiring after the Test !!


I beg everyone on this thread to call a halt to Umpiring criticisms for now !!

I personally don't think Hair is racist !! :-O And I am sure Chaminda is not implying this either !!

That what i thought when you look at the matches aganist Australia, they never lose. His also umpired England 10 times in the last 2 years. He also probably would of umpired South Africa a lot when they played well, Number 2 in the world. I hope that the reason and it not something else. It would be interesting to look at other umpires and see how they stack up, before i start making statements, that i can't take back.

Have you actually watched the test? and if so give me the decisions that have you think have been unfair to srilanka?
Remember nz is missing a lot of players too.

I will give them after the Test is over !! As I have said already, no more mention of umpiring from me until after this Test is well and truly over !!

Ok whatever, if NZ lose I will also give these umpiring decisions that have gone against us.
And the ones that have always gone against us, till then no more talk of umpiring or srilankans chucking ok

I won't mention it but darell hair clearly favoured the srilankans by not changing his trousers making it impossible to see malinga's bowling but don't worry as i said we wont talk about umpiring.

I don't think any NZer would actually take offense to people raising questions regarding Mills's action

The guy is a dropkick anyway

He doesn't chuck, but we can only talk after the match. We should only talk about darrell hair favouring srilanka becasue he is scared of people saying he is rasist. And clearly wearing black trousers to help malinga but lets not talk about it eh jason till the match is over.

I was only kidding. Poor guy needs a few wickets in the second Test, otherwise he is going to get dropped out of the Test Team. But Tuffey deserves that spot IMO.

Race Card is a dangerous one to play !! And to blatantly accuse anyone thus, is very fool hardy !! And I am very disappointed in my fellow countryman Chaminda for even implying this .
