This really is a very decent opening attack now, especially in these conditions. Like the early signs from Silva and Sanga though, eager to try and rotate the strike and just try and disrupt the NZ lines.

No it isn't. There is a confidence interval for prediction, and what we see is the averaged predicted path of the ball. So uncertainities of prediction is additive.

That's really made him look quite silly. Don't know why Smithy and Rutherford were going on about him not playing a shot though, it hardly matters.

He should be bowling more. Either it should be 130-135k short bursts, hitting the pitch hard and hitting the bats hard. Or he has to bowl 125kish and long tight spells. At the moment he is in between and it's not helping Sri Lanka.

Big misjudgement from Silva to leave a ball that has pitched on the stumps and would've thumped into leg stump but credit to Boult for getting it spot on again. Big test even for Sanga here, gonna be really interesting to see how he goes about his business.

Took three wickets and was the only bowler with an econ below 4rpo. Bit harsh to say he was "not helping".
