That is the good thing about them though as one is usually covering the other so at least you have one bowler firing at any one time. When they get it together on the same day a side will struggle to get 150.Southee looking relatively pedestrian compared to Boult atm.
So are you suggesting that physically his body is fine and should be up to bowling more and with a higher intensity, even if it's just in less taxing temperatures?Mathews' bowling is only needed in conditions which suits him. No one asks him to bowl long spells in SC conditions. But bowling long spells in low temperatures in Eng / NZ / SAF shoudn't be as hard as in SL. Mathews' all is needed when we play overseas. In SC there are plenty other batsmen who can play spin and bowl spin for long periods of time.
A bit like Broad and Anderson don't you think? That is the good thing about them though as one is usually covering the other so at least you have one bowler firing at any one time. When they get it together on the same day a side will struggle to get 150.
Boult on fire, significant movement, meh batting.Just back from lunch....SL 3 down already? NZ bowling particularly well, SL batting poorly, pitch playing badly or combination of all 3?
He's just a lazy ****.. he underbowls himself even in ODIs all the time.So are you suggesting that physically his body is fine and should be up to bowling more and with a higher intensity, even if it's just in less taxing temperatures?
Along the wicket bowler at brisk pace means he comes onto the bat nicely so goes for runs even if he's in the wickets. Is Boult in NZ's WC plans? Just glanced at his ODI numbers and they don't look pretty.. seems a waste if he's not but I guess he doesn't handle no movement well?
Yeah that baffles me. Why not just put the Melbourne test on another channel instead of moving this one?Don't really appreciate Sky giving me a bit of Boult before making me watch India bowl instead.
