You'd just chop it onto leg stump and be 200 allout.i love lakmal's length here. push his line two feet wider and we'll put on 700

Due to an absolutely amazing innings. To suggest that its par for the course to score a double hundred against this NZ attack is an absolute disservice to what Sangakkara, Chandiguns and the tail did today.5 down for SFA - then needed around 300 runs for the next 5 wickets due to the changing pitch condition and a lack of natural variation in the side.
Chandimal looked comfortable out there and we didn't exactly blow the tail away did we.Due to an absolutely amazing innings. To suggest that its par for the course to score a double hundred against this NZ attack is an absolute disservice to what Sangakkara, Chandiguns and the tail did today.

Good to know that you're drinking Tui either way.Basin Reserve beer update: The Long Room serves Tui, Heineken and Steinlager Pure. A disappointing array.
Interesting to note that you can nab a pint of Tui for $6.50 in the Long Room whilst a sun-riped bottle of finest Tui Lager will set the plebs out on the bank back $7.50
It's an upper class conspiracy.
Also, note to Burgey: Ties are not required in members areas of the Basin.

Has about 100 overs tbh.Or a pitch offering nothing like what the first day offered and a captain looking to conserve runs, wait for batsmen error until he's got his prized weapon on in Herath?
Leaking runs for fun isn't good test cricket, he's got all the time in the world.
This is only the second day. NZ will need at least 30-40 overs to get "runs" on the board, which would leave 240 overs. At which point you could say "Has about 100 overs"Has about 100 overs tbh.
Check out the bloke who said AB de Villiers was a downhill skiier making fun of other people's opinions.Just driven from Sydney to Orange and checked the score.
But but Southee! But but Boult!
If our stellar line up could only get that, we'll roll SL for 120...
If there's *anything* in the wicket our pacers will get so much out of it because we're a great bowling side...
Wondered why I could hear balloons pooping all the way up here.
If he hasn't bowled us out in the next 100 overs then Sri Lanka have let us back in the game. This is only the second day. NZ will need at least 30-40 overs to get "runs" on the board, which would leave 240 overs. At which point you could say "Has about 100 overs"
Exactly.Sweepers aren't a bad tactic to Rutherford. He already plays a high risk game with the 45 degree bat shots, cuts close to his body etc and if you stop those shots going to the boundary then he's risking his wicket with almost every scoring shot he has for one or two runs.
How easy is his action on the eye.SL will look for Herath to deliver the win.
Or perhaps you don't bowl short and wide rubbish?Sweepers aren't a bad tactic to Rutherford.
