Actually seems to be in good touch. So maybe we should wait and see if he's finally grown out of mediocrity?

Don't fall into the trap Shri. The **** has always done well in domestics whenever he's been dropped. It's because he's in that awkward level of quality... he's good enough to dominate ranji but not good enough for tests.

Regardless I do think he's been bowling fine for around 2-3 years now, but he should clearly be behind Shami, Yadav and Bhuvi. If he comes in when one of them gets injured, fine, but he shouldn't replace them otherwise because he's objectively a worse option.

I just couldn't understand why he struggled so much in the ODIs against Pakistan when he did so well in Tests. Maybe opening the batting is not the right position for him?
