I know you mean the jamaican team, but it looks as if its says JA Marshall, ie James Marshall of NZ. Although his initial are JAH. :D :D :D

That's yer lot: 253 off 48.4 overs. Great yorker from Langeveldt to dismiss Collymore for a first-baller.

Mental aberration from Pedro Collins just before that, a strong LBW appeal & he wanders out of his crease for Boucher to throw down the stumps from behind.

Edges going for runs. Good bowling, specially from Collins not rewarded.. should have placed atleast a second slip from Collins

Okay is it just me or have the Windies pitches seemed flatter than ever before this season.

Can anyone explain the logic in moving Gibbs to the middle order and replacing him with Dippenaar?

Long term it doesnt make much logical sense according to me.

Versus Windies on a flat track like this one it wouldnt and didnt make much difference. Dippenaar infact hit a massive six and played a good inning. I doubt if Gibbs couldnt do better providing his form is okay.

The only logical reason which South Africa might give is loss of form for Gibbs

HH Gibbs 4 5 0 119 49 23.80 29.38

The only thing I can think of is that the long term view is de Villiers to open, so Gibbs won't (unless Smith encounters another bowler that's too good for him and decides he has to hide in the middle order) - therefore they want to get him used to batting in the middle order.

It must be being rested - obviously tired out from his marathon bowling stint then having to take the gloves!
