*Official* South Africa in New Zealand

Seems the New Zealanders bowling has picked up a little then....when I first saw the score yesterday (0/175) I was thinking "Here we go again with this Smith/Gibbs massive partnership thing again!" but to the Kiwi bowlers credit, they have bowled really well yesterday afternoon and this morning.

GO THE KIWI'S!:D

What are the odds on some wild tail end slogging from Ntini and SA still making 360+ in true NZ bowling fashion?

meh, probably..but then again South Africa allowed NZ to score plenty of runs with their tail-end in Hamilton also.

S.L 'A' are doing better today in the 2nd test.

73/2 after 24 overs...Mills the wicket-taker so far with 2/18 off 6 overs.

It's great to see some depth in the bowling...Martin steps up & takes 6 wickets. And then we've still got Butler, Mills, Mason & Franklin playing in an 'A' match down south...not forgetting that we're also missing Shane Bond aswell.

Fleming must owe the team about 10 or 11 jugs this season because he's put down so many easy catches, it's just not funny anymore.

What has happened to Fleming, he just seems to have forgotten how to catch.

after being 12/2, NZ have recovered well to 104/2 with Styris 73* off just 84 balls.

Fleming is finally paying for the hands on knees technique I reckon. I know Botham got away with it and Fleming has until now, but the one that would've given Martin 7-for his hands were just slow to cup.

Meanwhile, Styris keeps dining on the SA attack like they're feeding him truffles! They'll give him a luxury pen at Eden Park shortly, luring him away from the woeful ND...

153 runs in the 3rd session!...with the loss of just 1 wicket.

Styris was sensational & McMillan played aggressively at the end too which was positive to see.

So now we're only 95 runs behind S.A..hopefully we don't bat like they did today though.

I think Chris Martin has booked his ticket to go to England. I guess if Tuffey isnt fit or not fit enough to bowl I dont think he would be there. But still a good idea though to rest him and get him fit.

Is Bond been playing any club cricket of late?
