Yes, in this situation Dravid certainly deserves to be criticised for his slow strike rate. Sehwag put the Indians in a position where they had a shot at winning, Dravid threw it away.

I find it funny that people are saying to leave dravid alone. The man is a pro. Imagine batting with sehwag smashing away and resisting the temptation to emulate that. He knows his limitations and hes not shy about it. Pro in every sense of the word. Im sure hes been criticised in his face before and the crowd moaning when he gets defensive. I remember when he was in aus and the crowd was giving him the big boring chant but he kept on going. He didnt score a single run in a long time and when he did score one run he raised his bat like he scored a half cenury in good humour. No point defending dravid. He dosent care what people say on a forum. The people whom criticize dravid do not appreciate the mans art and never will. They just dont understand the true skill. Bradman was not the most squashbuckling elegant batsman of all time but he surely is the greatest. Dravid might not be crazy like sehwag but he is a better batsman than him and one of india's greatest
