Ok if you feel Amla has the better overall record, that's up to you but I think this is far from clear and beyond debate as you put it. I think a very strong case can be made for ABD having the overall better record.
Yess. He's so much more of a gun in the Jadeja-Ashwin set up too, a lot more useful to India than he'd be to most teams due to our reliance on close-in catching.
You said nowhere near which is complete horse****. Currently, he's far better yes. That has nothing to do with how you worded your post (ie) "just because Amla averages as much as AB". As hough Amla's average flatters him.
