A dismissal like that can totally **** with your mind. Which balls to leave in the next test? Where is the off stump?

Was hoping to watch a cracker here but can't see South Africa doubling what they have now let alone making a game of it

A hahaha they seriously can't blame the pitch much when they're all getting out to the straighter one. Not picking it at all.

Mishra has bowled far too flat all through the match. Haven't liked it at all. It's perfect to get wickets right now but I am making a larger point. I doubt he has been bowling flat just because of the pitch. Has become flatter since the kettle throwing incident some how. Sooner Ojha establishes himself in the team, the better for the long run.

Some of the shots are so so poorly played. Looks like they already gave up. Come on SA, you can do better than this. Yes the pitch has wear and tear, ball is turning and there is uneven bounce, but still at least you have to try to apply and play properly. Sending Philander to open the innings sums it all up. SA panicked.

Not even the biggest problem with that shot. Completely misjudged the length, should never have been trying to force that off the back foot.

Honestly, this has been like watching us bat in the subcontinent. Playing the conditions and not the ball.

great point by Sanjay, gun call to bring on Mishra for AB. If you're going to bag Kohli's calls as captain, gotta praise the good ones. And that was a mother ****ing good one.

True. I was talking about the wickets in general though. Literally all 4 wickets si far gave been to straighter ones pushed through.

So similar as you said to Australia collapsing to Babar's arm ball last year.

good shot. The thing about a low target is even when you lose wickets, you just need one flow of some runs and it just removes that "**** we're a long way off" feeling, regardless of what the pitch is doing.
