Usually when Bell scores a 50 he looks in good nick until inexplicably getting out. This time he looked in trouble the whole way through.

For my money this is England's worst batting performance yet this series.

Haha, found an interesting stat actually. Nearly 42 % of his dismissals have been in single figures. For comparison, Vaughan has 25 %, Ganguly 28 % and Boucher has 33 %.

So yeah. Needs to sort out that rather than worrying about not converting things imo

Strangely Peter Moores seems to escape criticism for England s performances even though in test cricket we regressed since he took charge and only really Sidebottom has made any kind of improvement from the Duncan Fletcher era.
