3-82 at lunch, Cook on 48, Bell on 4.Right cricinfo isn't working now - can someone give me a score update please
Bat wasnt close to pad. However, that sound could have been generated by almost anything, so I dont see how Snicko proves that it is conclusively out. If the edge was loud enough for the umpire to have heard it, then one would think Vaughan and Boucher would have heard it too.Only saw the Vaughan replay once from side on with snicko, couldn't that sound have been made from bat hitting the pad?
Nup, clear seperation there.Only saw the Vaughan replay once from side on with snicko, couldn't that sound have been made from bat hitting the pad?
Didn't look like it, space between bat and pad. It does look like the only noise could of been from a very faint edge.Only saw the Vaughan replay once from side on with snicko, couldn't that sound have been made from bat hitting the pad?
Pietersen should have been given lbw, but was given caught cover.can you explain?
AFAIK, it only uses sound feed from the stump-mic. The only thing that could have made that noise apart from bat on ball was Vaughan thudding his front-foot down. I didn't look closely enough to see whether that's possible.Bat wasnt close to pad. Is a reason to keep referrals out of the game IMO.Referrals would have been damn interesting, especially Vaughans
Its not the first time that Snicko has registered an edge when there hasnt been one. Theres been many occasions before despite bat not being close to bat and sometimes even when players dont appeal that snicko has registered an edge. As I said, Boucher's reaction says it all. If that was an edge, the only person that knew about it was Snicko.AFAIK, it only uses sound feed from the stump-mic. Who? The blink-or-you'll-miss-him bloke up next or the ****y Saffie already back in the hut?Well there's always the ODI captain.
You cant make someone captain when they arent even sure of a place themself. I'd also be really reluctant to make KP captain when he's our best batter at the moment.Well there's always the ODI captain.
Well, they are on their way to a decent partnership, but according to cricinfo they do not look that safe. All we need now is for Bell and Cook to make a 200+ partnership and we'll be fine!
In Tests, yeahStrauss did ok when he was captain in 2006, right?
Wasnt that long ago he was dropped.Strauss did ok when he was captain in 2006, right?
