I think it fell below 30 in the first Test after he got Petersen out. There was certainly a discussion about it then anyway and it was brought up that he took a Michelle on debut so it started low.
Yeah, I meant with some degree of permanence. It briefly fell below 30 in one of the WI tests too.

the more dead balls he bowls the closer he gets to timewasting or poor sportsmanship too imo. hes doing it demonstrably less now, but turning boundaries to dead balls may want to induce a talking to as well

Just because I'm busy with an assignment doesn't mean we can all start the nationalistic dick waving again. General warning, another one, in case anyone missed the first.

Seems obvious to say but the last thing England needed today after the Oval was dropped catches and wickets off dead balls.

The bowlers though on mass haven't turned up this series so far, really is hard to fathom.

Being fat or not is not the point. Its hyprocrisy of someone complaining about another teams captain where there captain has also been involved in some questionable actions.
This is an absolutely ridiculous post. Scaly is not Andrew Strauss or the embodiment of everything English Cricket. He can have his own opinions about each individual action and your assumption otherwise speaks volumes about the objectiveness of your own posts.

This is danger time for England...absolutely need a wicket here, otherwise I can see some shoulders slumping pretty soon.

Pretty sure it was the bowlers call.
In the first instance, I'm sure you're right. But captains are there to intervene if the bowler's made a duff call. And we saw loads of this at The Oval, so he must have been involved in the thought process somewhere.

We need an inspired spell from someone, Broad is usually the man to get a bag full but he hasn't looked his usual self this series.
