***Official*** South Africa In Australia

Why just single out Lawry, every Aussie commentator has been shockingly bias and piss poor, Slater has been busy with his Clarke and Bingle love with every chance he has had, Chappell and Benaud have been busy with their stories from what transpired during 1950's-1970's, Healy has just been himself and Nicholas has been himself too, and it has been a nightmare coping up with their crap, only Warnie and Gilly were like fresh breath of air amidst all this.
Because most of the other guys tend to just fixate themselves on the Australians and go on and on about them. Lawry on the other hand tends to do that but also criticises the South Africans ad nauseum (Healy does it as well I think, though I usually tune out when he speaks).

Haha yeah, apparently by not slogging now they've opened the door for Australia.

And what pup said about the whole 9 team. Although Warne has been decidedly meh for me.
Warne's been top-notch IMO, I've found him very refreshing

We've been pretty poor at the death for a couple of years now, we're great at keeping wickets, milking the middle overs but when it comes time to accelerate, they just haven't been able to, for whatever reason.
I think the problem here is that there is no finisher down the order to finish the innings off well, Clarke and Hussey use to a very good job of it when they were batting in the lower middle order, but blokes like White or Hopes just aren't used to coming in from ball one and tonking it all around the park, Australia needs to find someone who is genuinely good at playing the role of the finisher, David Hussey is an option once Symonds comes back, or someone like Travis Birt has been doing a good job for the Tassies for a while in that finishing role, so if he continues with it he can be an option too.

I certainly don't think Lawry's as bad as he was 10 or so years ago, he certainly gave them a fair amount of credit in the test matches, I think he just mis-reads the game sometimes these days, particularly ODI's

Edit: Kallis goneeeeeeeskiiii, may actually work in Africa's favor with the inform Duminy coming in.

Lovely stroke to get off the mark

Michael Hussey is one of the best finishers around.

Aust are paying well if anyone reckons they're a good chance from here.

SA bat deep though, so should be right. Still, ya never know.

Was wondering about Johnson, I assumed he had an injury. Just being rested is he ?
Just being rested atm, he was playing with a bruised toe too on the last day of the SCG test, so it was just a precautionary measure to ensure he is fit and fresh for the upcoming games, would be back after the 3rd ODI imo.

I don't think the list is the problem, just the application and the willingness to go over the top towards the end.

I ****in hate that Australia Wipeout ad.

Someone should slap that overweight chick in it. She's sooooooo annoying.

Think he's still bitter about 69/70 tbh.

Harris has been awful today, been worse than the 5th bowling combination of White and Hussey, had he bowled as well as the other Aussie bowlers, South Africa would have been dead and buried in this game by now.

South Africa should win it easy imo, they still have the batting power-play and six wickets in the bag and Australia' death bowling has been pretty average off-late.

Has anyone else noticed how Harris' run up and bowling action looks just like Shane Watson's?

Also, like Watson he manages to make 145kph+ look innocuous. Strange.
