Because getting Psyched out by Lee, going for the hook and getting out is really playing for the team.

I bet South Africa really wished they had Chris Gayle instead of Kallis.
Umm ok, they obviously want as much time to bowl at Australia in the 4th innings, and the way Kallis is batting isnt going to help

It's not even lunch on the second day, and you come out with a statement that shows that you would almost rather be watching a one-day international.
Well its not very exciting 8-)

As much as I hate Kallis there's nothing wrong with what he's doing. They can attack after lunch when Australia have been further ground down, there's already a decent score on the board and the ball is older.

Once again, I remind you of the Oval. I have the feeling i will be doing so again at the end of this match. You, think.
Can I remind you of the Oval?

Day 2, Australia walk off 2 hours before the close on 112-0 because of the light. That's one interpretation of where the Ashes was lost.

Day 3, second verse same as the first.

Day 5, Warney drops Pietersen.

If you blame Hayden for the loss of the Ashes, you're a bigger idiot than Ponting.

(incidentally, I don't think you are)

Well done prince a brilliant innings. I wonder if Warnie's still calling him Darryil. Didn't he call Strauss that aswell he was the only man to score two hundreds in the Ashes.

Prince and Kallis' partnership is now a fourth-wicket record for South Africa against Australia, beating the 206 added by CL Frank and AW Nourse at Johannesburg in 1921-22.

The current all-comers South African fourth-wicket record is 249, by Kallis and Gary Kirsten, against the West Indies at Durban two years ago. If Prince and Kallis should break this, the will become only the second pair two hold two national partnership records.

The others? Bradman and Ponsford [451 for the 2nd and 388 for the 4th] and Streak and Blignaut [154 for the 7th and 168 for the 8th]. You heard it here first.

A batsmen has to make hay, esp if one of the batsmen in the world, while the goings good. Hayden didn't, he faced almost twice the balls Langer did and wasted too much time. There were other factors in the match that led to the result sure, bad light and rain were going to be factors and that ended up being the case. IMO, all those other factors should have been taken into account and planned for while batting. And stop being derogatory and personal, show some class.

Alternatively, Don, Bill, Heath and the Emperor could hang on to their record.

Kallis gets out on Nelson where's hopping David Shepherd.

I wonder if Kallis has improved South Africa's chances of winning buy trying to play some shots?
