Why? What did he say?
He was talking about how spinners get to bowl on dry, 5th day wickets but seamers never get a damp wicket to start on day one because play gets delayed, and he was giving examples of spinners who get an advantage from the conditions late in a match. He said "Kumble, Muralitharan, and even that Ashley Giles, who's not a very good bowler".

It was classic.

Wow that's 3 now for Pollock. Hopefully Hussey can hang around for a bit longer than Hodge.

This will be six centuries in the year for Ponting if he gets it, and very much deserved. This is also the second time he's scored 1500 runs in a year, and the only other batsmen to do it ever are Gavaskar and Richards, and only once each.

Good persistence from Nel. He dropped Ponting and I believe Ponting got his hundred off Nel's bowling, but you could see it in his face that he wanted Ponting's wicket. He finally got him!

AND NOW NEL HAS SYMONDS FOR A GOLDEN! OH MY!

Seriously Symonds looks at sea at test level. Amazingly how many people (Queenslanders mainly) believed he should have been in the Australian test side. Not test standard.

yea even if he makes 50 in the 2nd innings he should be dropped. So then that will leave his place open for 3 players Martyo, Pup or Watson, i would love it to be Martyn but i dunno

Its hilarious that Martyn can't make this test team.

Maybe Marto should just randomly start rolling his arm over at domestic level and claim to be an allrounder. Its not like he'll bowl in the test matches much, Symo doesn't. :p

I've always been a fan of Martyn's bowling. Thought he looked a handy partnership breaker when needed. His batting certainly warrants a place in the team ahead of Pup, Symmo and others at the moment.

Nel likes to get fired up doesnt he? Looks a top prospect.

God, Gilchrist keeps getting out the SAME way 95% of the time now.
Yeah what's going on there?

Anyway how much does Nel rule? So much fun to watch.

And it's a bloody stupid shot he plays too, since there's always a fielder there waiting for it.

LOL @ Warne's face when the umpires and Hussey told him the sight screen couldn't go any further. He looked so confused. Like "I'm Shane Warne, I'm a Victorian and this is the MCG, make the sight screen go further!!!"
