9 times out of ten, Australia with Pigeon & Warne would bowl teams out in 130 overs
With the policy of playing 5 bowlers without the calss of a Gillespie I dont think thats not a give in against stronger teams.

McGrath only started to look out of sorts in the second innings, so again NO we cant blame ponting...
Waiting to get a lead of 490 and that too for a player to get a 200 in the given scenario is reason enough to blame the captain.

I actually think it's live every day because 9 have finally realised whatever happens you're probably not going to sell out a 97,000 capacity stadium whether it's shown on TV or not.

I'm going every day that's all I know.
I apologise I believe my source was either incorrect and/or bisexual.

But to unacceptable levels.
O really?

Australia's 6-11 would be on similar footingas England's 6-11 if Australia played 5 bowlers.

tbh SA batting wasn't that strong in perth & Ponting was in his right to believe he could run throught that brittle looking middle order with his 2 champions leading the attack in 1 day.

Would laugh at colonials, but feel stomach would burst through tonnage of turkey and brussels. Watering pitch, did the curator need a waz on xmas eve, it happens to the best of us.

Hope I can get up to watch us thrash those gits who set off fireworks in their own end, then blame us for the ensuing chaos. (only Neil will understand that comment)

Phil Jaques out, surely Ponting heard about the pitch, one day one of these drop in pitches will give a team batting last a record winning score. They don't detiorate.

Bye bye. Then again, Hussey had a shocker of a debut and has come back well lately.

Don't know what the damp pitch thing is all about.

Obviously pretty tricky conditions out there, but with the sun out it should ease up relatively quickly.

Disappointing to see Jaques go though, as I really do rate him very highly.

Ponting's probably got a mental block about inserting teams now though. :D

(or so I'd like to think)

Groundsman watered the pitch as he was worried about excessive cracking.

Ponting better hope something happens as Aus have handed SA perfect bowling conditions for the second consecutive test.

Not a clever thing to do with Pollock and Ntini coming at you. Pollock looking particularly dangerous early on.

EDIT: And an edge through the slips.

Despite the drop, Ponting's looking in lethal form, as he has for the entire summer so far. SA will want to get him quickly after lunch.
