An amazing 150 by Sachin Tendulkar was the main part of India's 186 run victory over New Zealand

India batting first started with a 98 run partnership between Sachin Tendulkar and VS Hazare who the Indian Manager J Gray had not selected, more on that later it was Hazare's wicket who fell first lbw.Reid. Tendulkar was next out for 59. Gavaskar made 42 the only other real contribution, Daniel Vetorri the Kiwi spinner took 94-6 241 all out was Indias final score.

In the Second Innings 68 of 168 balls by C Dempster was the highest score contriputions of 34 by Reid and 39 by Astle helped the team along to 276 a/o

Decision on New Zealand Issue

After careful review, it has been determined that the missing players would have certainly made an impact one way or another. As such, Mr Wright (New Zealand) has two options...

1/ Replay of the game at the end of the season.
2/ Awarded 30 points with India keeping its 30 points as well.

Please respond ASAP.

Yes you may. Effective immediately. If possible, you may name your team for the upcoming Test match against South Africa at Edgbaston.

Check your team page (England) for your provisional 30 and name your XI.

That said, you only have an hour and 5 minutes to do so, otherwise I will pick a suitably strong XI for you.

These are two different bowlers, from the same era, and they both have similar averages. I believe I have SF Barnes in my team, please could you replace Willis with W Barnes. I too was confused until I checked it out on CricInfo!:P
