Something has to be done about non submission of teams.
Well I don't think it really helped us that the results were a day late, throwing us out of kilter. Lets face it, some people hadn't missed a round up till then.

And the rules being ignored.

Rule 4:

If a team isn't submitted, the XI for the last Test played with that team will be used.

Now I see several of the Pakistani players picked weren't even in the touring squad, which was unchanged from the last tour, so how on Earth were they selected in the last XI?
I don't believe this! Marc of all people?!? You know that the rule was changed very early in the piece so that teams are randomly selected. In fact, you've helped me pick the 20 players for the random selection to occur out of. You suggested that the team be picked randomly from the 15 players not named in the touring squad.

Now you lose a game and suddenly you've forgotten all of this? It's somewhat Richard-esque.

Results were not out a day late. They were uploaded before midnight on game day. Therefore they were on time. Besides, you had time to name your touring 15...

Ah, I see. Chickening out, are we?

Kudos to Chaminda for a great bowling effort - 11/105 in the match to bring his average down to a more healthy 29. Also, the batting lineup was very solid, and the guys all made starts. I am proud of my boys (except Murali)

Nice win over New Zealand by an innings. I wonder what Mr Wright has to say about this?
Typical New Zealand first innings pathetic effort, it is nothing to get excited about. New Zealand have close to the worst batting line-up in the competition. We rely on one batsman and he can't perform all the time.

Reckon SL'll give you a good for the money...Eight batsmen average over 40. Best batsman averages 65.

SL: Six batsmen over 40. Best averages 74.

Close, but no cigar.
