Yeah smashed it
Sounded like two noisesThat has to be out, unless he's hit it
Duckett school of test battingWhat's Warner doing here? He doesn't need to play at these.
You need less teams. Too many club cricketers getting regular First-class gamesIf we lose this game no doubt there'll be the usual cry that we play too much cricket and Andrew Strauss will be shouting "I TOLD YOU DIDN'T I?"
The logic with his High Performance Review seems to be fewer games, better cricketers.
Well the WIs play a lot fewer first class games than we do. So that ends that argument.
Its cloudy for the whole ****ing dayWhen's the sun forecast to get out? Be good to know how long we should expect Australia to bat.
It’s non-slip.Green used this spray paint yesterday too, what exactly is the point?
Worse than Murray Mints IMO.It’s non-slip
More teams = more chance of finding top class players. Durham have produced many international players in their short time as a county. How many of them would have made it had they not had FC status? You need less teams. Too many club cricketers getting regular First-class games
Sorry JB but you’re wrongCouple of blokes named BLAND,RHODES, PONTING< SYMONDS and ANY NAME you pick from the 60/61 West Indian sides were in a class of their own
Really what's wrong with 18 in 2 divisions? You need less teams. Too many club cricketers getting regular First-class games
There’s been some interesting Durham contributors to cricketweb.net/forums over the years, that’s for sureMore teams = more chance of finding top class players. Durham have produced many international players in their short time as a county. How many of them would have made it had they not had FC status?
Would Rehan Ahmed have been discovered if Leicestershire were culled like some suggest they should be?
They could travel to another county but it's not always that simple.
That's just not accurate. The quality players would play for a county that does have FC status. That's how it works everywhere in the world.More teams = more chance of finding top class players. Huh?Really what's wrong with 18 in 2 divisions?
There is a gap still between first class and club cricket. We also have a Minor Counties system too. We are too unique and we can't be like Australia who ditch 2 states and have just 6 teams. It won't work
Explain Indian Domestic Cricket then which has 28 sidesThat's just not accurate. The quality players would play for a county that does have FC status. That's how it works everywhere in the world.
Also more teams = weaker competetion = creates less top class players
Oh I know it wouldn't work, the County system has too much tradition behind it. But it still contributes to a reduced quality of Test cricketersReally what's wrong with 18 in 2 divisions?
