*Official* Second Test at Trent Bridge

Whatever it takes!!!
It's a matter of time. No amount of ear-licking will save him if he ****s up this tour.

Don't think anything will ever get him dropped, tbh.. Not as long as he is in the good books of BOTH Sachin and Dhoni.. Normally, one of them would do the trick but with both, he just won't be dropped, ever.

Yeah true.

But tbf to him, if you're not missing an international match as a bowler and playing IPL too, then your national team is your priority. I'm no fan of his but I reckon if he senses a threat to his spot and reacts by being available every game for India, good on him.

Well, if he was playing well, then sure.. But by playing on, all he is doing is making sure Ashwin doesn't get a chance... Not the way to hold on to your place, IMO..

Selection pressure is a nice issue to have generally. It's upto management to prevent player burnout as a player like Harby strikes me as someone who thrives on being able to compete at anything.

Maybe... It will be nice if he can show that through performances, esp. with the ball.. I mean, even KP is getting them to turn big here..

Yeah but IMO that's not his problem.

If they decide to keep picking him no matter what, that's their problem. All he cando is play on and be available.

I don't know the workings of the Indian set up obviously, but if ingratiating yourself to those two guys keeps you in, they can save themselves some dough and dispense with selectors.

I am not sure when Yuvraj became such a good player of spin as Warne is proclaiming him to be?

More wondered at why are we listening to Sky Guys instead of Star cricketers..
Yeah, the Sky commentators are right about the English cricketers but don't have much knowledge about the Strengths and Weaknesses of Indian ones, except for Manjrekar.

I think there were having some technical problems so they switched feeds to the Sky one. Didn't have a Tea Break show too.

Bresnan's last spell was probing, but Dravid's done a spectacular job of keeping the bowlers at bay.
He's provided an object lesson in how to play on a pitch that's offering something. Messrs Strauss, Trott and Bell please take note (always assuming Trott bats again in this match). I've just read about KP's drop when Yuvraj had just arrived: absolutely shocking how many we've put down in this series, and Broad must be feeling homicidal. Village green stuff tbh.

The 2nd new ball will be vital if England are going to stay remotely in this match, but I don't know whether Anderson & Broad will have enough energy to do enough with it at this stage of the day.

I think it's to make Gavaskar and Shastri look good. Wait till Holding and Botham get together, it'll be raining televisions from Mumbai highrises.
I like Holding. Absolutely hate the other ****.

Yeah they'e back now. Happened during last test also.

Nasser + Ganguly is the best combination imo
