funny how he never needed to be rested too.. My cousin works for a FM station here in Chennai and they had Ashwin as a guest after the WC.. He spoke off records that Bhajji has got Sachin's and Dhoni's ear and is trying very hard to block Ashwin and push himself in for all matches.. Doesn't seem a coincidence that he has not had a rest at all.. Played the NZ series at home, SA away, WC, IPL, WI and now England.. Just about EVERY other Indian player has skipped one or two of these...

Yeah true.

But tbf to him, if you're not missing an international match as a bowler and playing IPL too, then your national team is your priority. I'm no fan of his but I reckon if he senses a threat to his spot and reacts by being available every game for India, good on him.

Selection pressure is a nice issue to have generally. It's upto management to prevent player burnout as a player like Harby strikes me as someone who thrives on being able to compete at anything.
