To be honest he probably is. Tredders is a useful one day player but since his only test in 2010 he has a very ordinary first class record. Would think they would go for a youngster with potential over him for a test if push came to shove.

Yeah Tredwell WAS ahead of Kerrigan but If you don't think he would come into the conversation for Old Trafford if Swann got injured then you are the delusional one.

yeah it all just goes back to the 'lost generation' point. For whatever reason, there has been an absolute void of quality batsmen in the shane watson age category. The result is you are relying on inexperienced younger batsmen to fill up all the spaces, and as we have showed, the results are pretty poor.
