Tbf Kohli hasn't given Eng openers the time to settle down (with the timing of declaration) which might have resulted in these early wickets.
Not saying you're wrong, just that you can't prove it. England (and Wales) might have started even worse if he declared at lunch, and there would be an extra 4 overs.

Wasn't there already a stat going about after the last Test that England had set a new record for top order ducks in a calendar year? The new record that they're setting could stand for decades.


Unless England break it themselves next year I guess.

i don't know what has changed with ground audio since covid but the mics picking up everything some random in the crowd is saying at the same volume as the commentators is really annoying, even if it did give us the 'ruined my experience' meme
