There's multiple things going on though. Rustiness is obviously a thing, some players just need quite a bit of gametime to feel back in rhythm and comfort again. Once he got through that, then the benefits of being mentally refreshed can really kick in.
****, could have been my first ever thread! Oh well, my point was kind of Root seems to have been consistently good at home and away for years. Now he is finally converting, could he quickly jump to the top? Agree that strange times may have helped him.

No, i mean they are naturally not bowl dry types. Shami esp. He is gonna drift one nicely at the legs every other over irrespective of pitch and conditions
