Stephen Burke and Gary Nayak both hit maiden centuries for his Colts team...

Great win, even if that is easily THE WORST I`ve ever bowled. I hate the Colts.

Amazing effort to win that boys, all of you stood up and some stage. :)

Nayak's third century...but what the hey?!

Good efforts, pity the bowlers couldn't quite get the job done in the end. Really hurts our slim chances of an FC berth.

Good win lads! Top bowling from Trav and Adam! Lots of people batted well, Dinu, Goffy and Wilshere. Delighted to be in two great partnerships in both innings. Our innings' were almost identical in the first innings Dinu! Then Brendon and I came out all guns blazing.
yeah, maybe you're my long lost twin. :D
anyways, glad to be able to contribute to a convincing win. lets keep this going.

If there was ever any suggestion that this sim lacks realism, there it is. As if a Vermont boy (read: girl) would dismiss a Nuna lad that easy

I think I shall have to go away more often... very solid batting from the top four in both innings, nice to see the lower middle and tail chip in with some as well, will be good to have Warwick, Wilson, Thompson and Richards in a bit of form as we draw towards the FC final. Bowlers doing very well also, young Warwick has been a star in his rookie season

Cricket Web Red v Cricket Web Green
at CW Oval

Clouds, batsmen out of form and outrageous shot selection made the Red v Green match at the CW Oval an instant, if low-scoring, classic. Red needed a win to keep up as favourites in the battle for the second final spot, while Green still had an extremely theoretical chance of qualifying for the final - depending on results here. Neither team were able to build partnerships, as three seam bowlers took centre stage on the first day; first, Watt took five for 48 in the first innings, including Garven, Scott, Lezama and Vaughan for single-digit scores, and Kennett also chipped in with three wickets in his opening spell. However, the Red innings flared out rather weakly - only Robbins and Dobson managed to partner Mørk (53) with success, while Kevin Goughy roared through the middle order and then rounded off the innings with a brace to debut with a five-for. Xavier Rose also kept things tidy with three for 22.

Incredibly, Green led by 9 despite posting 114 in the first innings. Then they collapsed again - to Kennett, who took three of the four wickets as the top order wilted to 12 for 4. Ben Vaughan smashed a quick 31, and vital innings also came from Cunningham, Rose, Gundry and Goughy, to set a target of 145. Mørk then gave an early chance in the second over, but Mørk and Mamesh attacked with vigour on the second day's afternoon, with Mamesh pulling Goughy's hat trick ball for three. By tea on day two, Red were 72 for 0, and Green needed to pull a huge collapse out of the hat. However, despite Rose's toiling, Red finally batted responsibly and made it home with seven wickets to spare, thus taking 17 points and a lead of 23 over Colts in third place.

Cricket Web Green 114 all out
Cricket Web Red 105 all out
Cricket Web Green 135 all out
Cricket Web Red 145 for 3
Cricket Web Red won by seven wickets
Man of the Match: Dave Watt
