Nice win guys, really need to start turning these 50s into hundreds. Probably needed some more bonus points in the 1st innings too, but who cares we won and kept our finals chances in our hands. One more game against Blue, should be an easy win.

If there was ever any suggestion that this sim lacks realism, there it is. As if a Vermont boy (read: girl) would dismiss a Nuna lad that easy
Just you wait, Dylan  I'm gonna find out what seniors you're playing next year and prove my point

Cricket Web Colts vs Cricket Web Blue
at the PDV Dome

A commanding hundred from Liam Camps led the way to a total of 346, which proved more than enough for the Blues to take a crucial win over the Colts.

Camps' ton was well-supported by Goff, Cloete, Crampton and DeSilva, as none let the pace slip against a struggling Colts seam attack. Fuller and Wilshere only faced 3 balls between them, but the run rate never really suffered much despite the loss of wickets.

In the chase, Daniel Towns and Aranuva Das batted promisingly after the loss of Jasotharan early on, but the demand of the scoring rate was simply too much. Nick Hancock and Gary Nayak tried in vain to press on at the end.

Cricket Web Blue 346/7 (50 overs)
Cricket Web Colts 276 ao (49.2 overs)

Cricket Web Blue won by 70 runs.

Cricket Web Black vs Cricket Web Red
at the CW Oval

After Neil Pickup smashed a towering six off of Dave Watt in the final over of the game, 5 runs were needed from the final 4 balls of the innings. Alas, amidst the tense atmosphere of the CW Oval and in front of his home crowd, it was captain Dave Watt who had the final say.

Watt found the top edge of Pickup's flashing blade to end the game and seal a dramatic 2-run win over the Blacks. Circling around at long-on, Thamba Mamesh claimed the catch and with it sighed the Reds' collective relief.

Earlier Pickup was the star with the ball. His 3 wickets changed the course of the Red innings and was central in limiting the home side to 255 on a sporting wicket.

Facing the challenging total, the Blacks were off to a most sluggish of starts. Smith and Fitzsimmons struggled to time the ball, and whilst Smith later found his touch to the tune of 117 runs, the slow start rippled troubles toward the end of the innings.

Nathan Hoy's assault on Gaurav Nayak got his team close, but there simply were not enough wickets to cope with the challenge finally.

Cricket Web Red 255/7 (50 overs)
Cricket Web Black 253 ao (50 overs)

Cricket Web Red won by 2 runs.

That puts us back on top of the OD table I believe. Good win, terrific innings from Liam with some good support, and Halsey killed the game with 3 wickets in an over.

Another absolute shocker from me, but it doesn't matter so much as long as we win.

Nice wins guys, sets us up pretty well for the OD Final.

Man my batting form has been really pathetic this season, must be my fielding that keeping me in the side or something. Oh well hopefully i can turn in a match winning performance pretty soon with the bat, or atleast contribute.

Um, Aussie, in case you didn't realise or are unable to read, Red just beat Black... 8-)

Awesome win though, guys. Quick start from the openers, Feen-dogga getting stuck in, some lusty lower order hitting, and supreme bowling from 'Watta', Redmunds and Ian. Go Reds :D
