Another shocker there. The batting was much better, with Cribb in particular showing why he's probably going to be opening most of the season, and Goff making a good contribution in his first OD game for us. The bowling was very poor though, aside from Halsey, and there's still a lot of work to do there before the proper season begins.

I expect big things from our batting in the ODs though. Our top 5 in the shorter form is comfortably the best going around, in my opinion, and Crampton and Wilshere have proven themselves to be very good finishers as well. If we get the bowling right, I think we can go a long way.

Good win for the Colts again, too - we're officially better than at least one Test team.

Captain leading by example in a tight game, very pleased with the batting - another three 50's can't hurt at all - but (unusually) some bowlers struggled to make an impact. I imagine a couple of them will play in the next game.

Very pleased with the warmups so far, though. Looking forward to facing up to the other teams and playing a couple of games myself.
