The way I took it was the numbers were batting positions, but now that I think about it, they're probably bowling orders.

Seamers bowling order listed; all to be used in very short bursts to maximise their impact. If someone bowls Harmisons, get them off as soon as is possible. Preferably to be shot - there are enough gun bowlers here for us not to waste time with offdays in the hope of a jaffa. Spinners to be used as and when the situation dictates - turning pitch, desire to strangle (particularly with Davo) or if we need some Ginger magic. Good luck Xavier with the gloves.
