Jono said:And since no one cares about spoilers here evidently, I hope Benoit wins the belt and Edge beats him at Mania (Yes a heel winning the last match never happens except at WM 2000 with Triple H, but the SD title can have a face win and be the final match). It looks like the possibility of my Wrestlemania 21 card isn't too far off now is it boys? Especially with rumours that the WWE are considering Batista vs. Triple H at Mania.
Oh yeah
Sad isn't it? It's sad that months (I predicted this right after Unforgiven) before Mania 21, we 'know' who will win the Royal Rumble, and what the title match at Mania will be.duffer said:Unfortunately I reckon they're pushing that waste of space Randy Orton for the big shwodown with Trips at Mania. For the push he's gotten he looks a shoe-in for the Royal Rumble.
duffer said:Despite that however, with what happened on Raw and with the recent rumours that Triple H vs. Batista may occur at Mania, I still hold hope that Edge/Benoit will main event on the Raw side.
I'm dying for a Booker win, but if Eddie won I wouldn't mind. If Taker wins I'm just hoping he shows up to all 4 shows every month, as this whole "rare" appearance thing wouldn't be fit for the champ.duffer said:Hopefully at Armageddon JBL loses his belt. ANy of the three in the fatal four-way deserve a run. Bradhsaw's had it for how many months now?
Up until a couple of weeks back I used to think the same thing. But since then, I've been finding that arms thingy pose make Randy look rather a nincompoop, than full of confidence or ****iness.KennyD said:I also like Randy Orton's arms thing.
So ****y, so confident.

"When asked about his political power backstage, especially with the marriage to Stephanie, and the resentment form the locker room, Triple H says the internet glorifies things. He says that there was animostity when it first happened, but if now if it exists, people don't show it. He says that when it coems down to it, it's Vince company, andhe does what he wants. He also said that anyone who works with him knows he wants the best for the buisness, and it doesn't matter if you're on top or down the ladder, you do what's right for the buisness."
You see pics of his house, and it's obvious the guy's got a good economic sense, even more than Neil I'd say...masterblaster said:But I agree with him, in the sense that he's married to the daughter of Wrestling's biggest empire. He's probably got some sort of stake in WWE Corporate and probably got a lot of shares and money invested in it.
Why in the world would Triple H, husband of Stephanie McMahon who is daughter of Vince McMahon want to harm the WWE by his politics?
If WWE is doing bad business, Triple H effectively loses money too since he's got such a large stake in the WWE.
I agree with him that 'people who work with him know that he wants whats best for the wrestling business'.
If Triple H's politicking is costing the WWE so much money, Triple H would be losing it too. Why would Triple H want to harm the WWE's business.
It just doesn't make economic sense.....

Nah not really mate, sure he's my favourite all time WWE Superstar, but when I was 'posting' that Interview news report I wasn't re-igniting the debate or anything, I posted it just because I found the article an interesting read, and it deserves to be in this thread.Jono said:Explain Bad Blood 2003 and 2004 to me MB, and then we'll start talking economic sense.
MB, it doesnt matter what Triple H does, you're still going to defend him and support him, because you have a clear bias. I'm not criticising you for that, because I myself have biases, we all do. All I'm saying is you can't expect people to debate with you on the topic of Triple H, when you refuse to see any harm Triple H has done, whether it be directly to the WWE or to superstars 'below' him.
So many good points there Buffer which I used in my post. I'm beginning to like you a lotduffer said:Hunter is a great wrestler, an awesome and deserving Champion. But he loves the spotlight and position and hasn't been willing to give it up for years since he managed to climb the ladder.
HHH marks will point to how he put over Shelton etc as proof as him being unselfish, but whenever there is a possibility of his mantle being taken from him, he'll never give up his heat.
Look at how he buried Booker at Mania. Going into that match he had so much momentum and was getting over in a massive. The pops that Booker was getting were the pops of a potential champion and sensible booking would've seen HHH drop the belt to him at Mania and shoot Booker over. He didn't give it up and eventually retained the belt CLEAN, killing all the momentum Booker had. A few weeks later he was back in the mid-card.
Same goes with Jericho, he was buried too as well as Goldberg(whom I despise). These guys had the potential to rival him but he refused to put them over. Hell, even when they finally put Benoit over at WMXX, Chris wasn't defending his title in the Main Event. Nope, his feud with Michaels took Benoit's spot in the Main Event.
Didn;t Pat Paterson leave the WWE after he told Vince that HHH was too dominant on RAW and should move down to the mid-card and concentrate on putting others over. He doesn't need the title anymore, he's bigger than that yet he still won't give it up.
Absolutely right there mate. He'd be just as entertaining if he didn't have the World Title around his waist.Jono said:So many good points there Buffer which I used in my post. I'm beginning to like you a lot
MB, Triple H is a great entertainer, and a great character. But why can't he let others entertain to their maximum potential as well? Wouldn't that be better? I'd rather have Jericho, Benoit, Michaels and Triple H (Plus many others... Christian anybody ) entertaining me on Raw in reasonably equal amounts, rather than just Triple H (and Michaels when he's there).
I'm one of his Peepz!! He's a fantastic talent, pushing his gimmick well, him and Edge are both stepping out. Edge used to bore me as a face but recently his heel turn has been great and he looks a Main Eventer in all aspects. Remember his comment when commentating with King and JR ' I may well be the strongest man alive." I'm hooked on Edge nowadays I'd love to see how far his feud with Benoit goes, hopefully with some gold on the line.masterblaster said:But my comment earlier stands, 'Captain Charisma for the World Heavyweight Championship in 2005'.
