On WWE.com's "Ross Report," Jim Ross notes that during the "Pick Your Partner" Triple Threat Match tonight, that John Cena and Edge will possibly have future "Hall of Fame" partners tonight, but none of that has been confirmed. Ross also mentions that Rob Van Dam will obviously have an ECW Partner

Which never occurred, Saturday’s Main Event was brought forward and Edge subsequently won the title. Presumably because RVD (alongside Sabu, who was going to be his tag team partner) were both arrested for possession of drugs, hence the reason why RVD dropped one of his belts. Suspension or even possibly a firing could be on the cards for both men, though I doubt the latter. Considering neither Chris Masters or Joey Mercury were shown the door.

Also the fact that RVD has made dope smoking a part of his gimmick for the best part of ten years and as any good gimmick would go, it is always good to be in character or close too.

i have watched quite a few of mine recently, such as wrestlemania 16, 17 and 18, the backlash's that followed them, invasion, king of the ring 2000, summerslam 00 and 01, invasion, unforgiven 2000 and 2001, and a few others such as some royal rumbles.

Wrestlemania 17 was probably the best PPV that i recall. Invasion was alright, the main event was good anyway- was it survivor series 2001?

Royal rumbles are always good, 2001 was really entertaining as well

Also, though RVD has been suspended for 30 days, Sabu, has only been given a $1000 and will still be present at all shows. It seems Vince is a VERY big fan of Sabu, and his push will continue

i have the survivor series when the main event was austin vs HHH and HHH ended up being dropped from the top of a fork lift truck inside a car, and the next years when the main event was the 10 man tag between wwf and the alliance.
