Haha, onya Duffer, catch the WM buzz with the rest of us, and we can get excited like it's 2001. I'm actually pretty amped for it this year, more so than at any other time I can remember for quite a while.

Watched the first WWE NXT and it looked like a very interesting, fresh show. The team of Cole and Matthews worked excellently and the new competitors and their mentors form an exciting roster. Daniel Bryan appears to be the main attraction of WWE NXT, but his match with Y2J was full of botches and didn't look great. Perhaps if he is given more chance to wrestle as an equal to his opponent, rather than as an exhuberant new comer, he could perform better. Having Bryan go down to the codebreaker + the real Walls of Jericho isn't really burying him either, as the codebreaker has beaten the Undertaker in the past and following it up with a damn near deadly application of the walls of jericho should make anyone tap.

I'm poor on names, but the one mentored by Punk was beaten really quickly by R Truth's with a modified slam, which was highly interesting. It is weird that they'd have a newcomer job so quickly to another (with a weird, but okay slam) - but he is involved in a very interesting and funny storyline with CM Punk and it'll be good to see how that one turns out. Both the rookies mentioned though, seem to have great characters, seem to handle themselves well outside the ring and seem to have a degree of star quality to them, if only through contrasting to their respective mentors. This is in further stark contrast to Heath Slater (Christian's rookie) who looked a bit too excited.

Here's the vid in question.

Haha, I always forget how goddamn well HBK can work angles this well, it's really great stuff. completely captivating and believeable. Got to give credit to the E booking team who put that bit with HHH together so that it could have easily turned into HHH vs HBK instead, what with the "there are plenty of other guys for you to face.." bit. Hats off, good stuff WWE.
With HBK putting his career on the line, I am officially interested in this one!

What were the botches Manee? Didn't spot any.

I LOVED NXT. Miz and Bryan were immense. Christian's guy was hilarious (the over-excited thing is his gimmick as far as I can tell) and the whole show ran really smoothly.

Miz V Danielson at Mania?

Don't think they'll be willing to afford it the time on the card tbh, what I expect to see is perhaps the Miz being cost the MITB/Tag Team title match by an interfering Danielson, launching a feud.

Not overt botches, just things like Danielson taking the Enzeguri like a drop kick.

WWE NXT was such as great show. I really enjoyed Bryan Danielson's work and he really was the star of the show. His showdown with The Miz was the highlight of the show. I thought his match with Chris Jericho was excellent and I loved the athleticism and talent that he showed. Was quite impressed with Wade Barrett's promo work as well. The Englishman certainly has charisma. Looking forward to seeing how the rookies all progress.

Yeah, shaping up nicely as it does every year. Not enough Austin to be 01 though :(

Reckon he will be involved somehow tbh, is booked in to host the last RAW before WM, so wouldn't rule out some sort of appearance.

It's the last but one, but yeah. From a kayfabe POV it would make sense for him to be involved with Bret-McMahon as they were the two people he hated most. Special ref, perhaps?

Reckon that would be quite clever actually, as not only would it let the E introduce a "there is only one guy who can truly call this one straight down the middle..." kind of angle, and Austin would be able to help with a lot of the ring work as well. Reckon that it might be a bit of long shot, but would like to see it.

Not surprised about any of these. Was actually wondering to myself this morning what had happened to all of them. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see them all end up in TNA at some stage.

Not sure why they didn't use her more as a backstage interviewer or whatever, was always quite decent at that. Was quite over after the run as Santino's girlfriend, neither he nor her have been as good since they ended that angle imo. Couldn't wrestle for **** though, probs the worst in the women's locker room in that regard.

What are you talking about RE Santino, he's the best person on all of television
He's a total gun, but I've not found him quite as funny since some of the stuff he came out with during his initial run, imho. That said, I've not really seen much of him for the last 6 months or whatever, so probably not in the best position to comment.

Honkometer was amazing tbf, though I wasn't a frequent viewer at the time

But I have never heard a better line than, "haven't you seen grand master ***y, your kid will be a screwup"
