Smackdown was such garbage last night. I almost fell asleep while watching it. It was the same old predictable crap I've seen before. Someone in WWE Corporate please get Paul Heyman back on the writing staff. I dont think I'll be able to watch Smackdown again. Lets hope for some major scale trades after Wrestlemania to keep both shows fresh and exciting.

But Raw is Gold all the time, I'm loving the Batista/Triple H angle. Batista's doing a stellar job and Triple H is gold as always with his backstage acting. Orton's annoying me like hell.

I loved the fan sign at the Raw in Toronto, 'MAKE ORTON HEEL', Orton was a good heel and after his Mick Foley match I thought this guy would be the next best thing, but he's really become stale right now.

That SD! was sh1t.

Eddie carried Booker and the Bashams throughout that first match. Why he's stuck in a meaningless tag team in a meaningless tag divison is beyond me. He made three lethargic in-ring performers seem top class and put on a good show.

Rey and Chavo was awesome. Absolute world-class match from those two, some of those spots were sick and the match had a great tempo, ring-psychology and an all-round importtant feel about him.

Carlito cut a great promo again, and it'll be great to see him back in the ring so he can back his words up. Promos can only get you so far before you need matches.

I'm starting to like Heidenreich more and more. He's been booked superbly under Heyman's influence, he's been able to hide a lot of flaws and accentuate some of his positives nicely. I'd just hate to see Taker job to him.

Those were pretty much the only real positives from the whole show. Akio being pinned by Scotty after a farking worm! Wow, he puts on 5-Star matches with London twice in the past month and he's treated like this?

A mate of mine in Melbourne summed Scotty up when he wrote this on MSN:

What I don't get is why this pile of **** was off TV for ages, and then gets a victory over Akio on Smackdown and gets in the Royal Rumble, when Akio has been busting his ass and pulling out killer matches on Velocity and Smackdown. Akio should be in the Rumble and Scotty should be fired with the rest of Too Cool (who carried his ass).

Face Big Show is really gay now, although the beatdown he got tonight was alright I guess.

A really inconsistent sho which I got bored of way before the end. Dunno how I manage to watch the whole thing nowadays without changing channels half-way.

I didn't watch SD tonight. I watched Curb Your Enthusiasm on the Comedy Channel.

Larry David, co-creator of Seinfeld > Smackdown.

Did they show Big Show getting smashed up by JBL and Kurt Angle and their respective posses last night, or did I just think it was over and change the channel before it was finished?? I watched the last ten minutes of the replay on Fox 8 today and I didn't see that bit last night lol.

The Rock wants to face Sting at Mania!!!!!

Please be true, it'd be like all my Christmas' come at once. It might actually be a good draw too. Vince can't sa no to this!!

Wow, thats crazy. Sting ruled, and will forever rule. I hope thats true. Sting may be past it, but seeing him again would be enough for me.

Well, my ultimate Dream Match would be Bret vs Benoit vs Angle vs Guerrero in a fatal fourway for the WWF title, but for WCW marks like me seeing Sting at a Wrestlemania would make soooo me happy :D

He can still put on a good match and would be majorly over and might even get the hardcore WCW fans back to the product at least for a little while. This feud would be best for Smackdown although it might overshadow their ME, especially if JBL goes in as Champion. But buyrates would definitely go up, I can't see why this shouldn't happen!

Well, Rock/Hogan overshadowed their main event at Mania 18, and Austin/Rock and McMahon/Hogan overshadowed their world title matches at Mania 19, so I don't think they'll be bothered. JBL may be hilarious, but he draws absolutely nothing and so Rock vs. Sting would really boost SD!

It's not true until the Rick confirms it...

Well since I saw the success of the Favourite WWE match topic, I thought I'd make an official pro-wrestling topic where the wrestling fan CW members can discuss recent shows, PPVs, storylines, some old school memories or even who is better, Bret or Shawn? Flair or Hogan? Rock or Austin? Anything goes... no disqualification (lol get it :p).

This isn't just limited to the WWE (although as the only mainstream fed alive right now, I'm guessing most of you only watch that). We can talk about the great TNA and ROH matches, especially after TNA have signed big names such as Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, Randy Savage and might possibly have the immortal Hogan in their sights. Their recent PPV, Victory Road was a huge success, so if any of you have been watching TNA feel free to comment here because I've recently become a fan once again.

So nikhil1772, MasterBlaster, Mr Casson, Kenny D and any other wrestling fans I've missed, get your butts in this thread ;) Oh and if anyone wants to storm in here ranting how wrestling is fake, I'll hit the Stone Cold Stunner on you and we'll see how fake wrestling is.

Wel I like the up to date part of it, but free PPV'S!!!! Gah, I guess that'd compensate for it, but then again I d/l most of the PPV's nowadays since they aren't worth buyng except for "The Big 4."

I agree, NZ are trying to get us up to date Raw's and Smackdowns, so the big four can be actually live, and at a reasonable hour to watch. (2pm)

Good news for us Aussies, but with school and all I doubt I'll be able to watch any of the shows now. Maybe on Fox 8 + 2 I'll be able to watch it when its replayed 2 hours later.

Good to see Velocity and Heat in Australia.

Bad programme times though, WWE Raw at 8:30 pm on Wednesday's was better, but anyway.
