Lesnar can literally be as goofy as he wants because everyone knows he could legit beat up the whole roster. Love it!

I absolutely hate this wildcard rule. I know the quality of the weekly shows have been declining but atleast we saw more of the roster before this rule came into place. The Usos, Becky and AJ(although I understand the switches) leaving Smackdown has really hurt it.
I mean do we really need to see Shane all the time with the amount of guys who don't get screen time?

On the 24/7 belt: I find R-Truth very entertaining. And I'm sure most people do, but boy have they messed that title up already. Roman didn't even want it today. And I do remember the Undertaker winning the old Hardcore belt. Its all in the presentation.

Managed to watch Double or Nothing. Good show. There's money in Jericho being champ. But Hangman Page really has something about him. I didn't see it before, but I do now.

I just can't even watch the highlights of RAW and Smackdown these days. It has got too much even for me.

Watched some clips of the Lesnar stuff which was amusing, but the rest of the show sounded like the usual bore-fest.

I mean the first 40 mins of RAW this week contained no actual wrestling/matches. Instead we get endless lengthy boring promos, and then this **** involving Ziggler, who is a total dweeb. Just **** off already.

Yeah I've stopped watching the YouTube. Keep up with it by show reports and may watch the odd clip if it sounds interesting. Everything they're doing since wrestle mania just feels bad imo. Though I do love brays stuff

The Bray stuff is quite interesting, but I am very sceptical as to how it will translate into any sort of in-ring goodness.

The character being built up appears to be some sort of deranged scary monster thing. Which is fine. But given the E's PG focus I struggle to see how this ends in anything other than a disappointment.

If you think about the end destination pretty much all wwe will be disappointing, sometimes ya gotta just appreciate the right now

Yeah agree, but the "right now" with Bray is 3 mins per week of him in a playhouse.

Which, as above, is fine and entertaining. But if creepy and unsettling viewing is what I want then there are plenty of other places to get that. Non-wrestling related content on a wrestling show is only any good if it somehow builds on the actual....wrestling.

- Basically that Vince is an old man and has no idea what he's doing
- Handed scripts for everything, thinks they were all terrible.
- Two cancer-related lines related to Roman, he refused to say one (thinks they would've lost sponsors, potentially he would've been fired too)
- Checked out mid-2018
- He hates his own character, particularly all the goofy stuff.
- Regrets showing them he had any comedic timing at all because then they started writing him jokes.
- They screw everything up.
- Wants to prove that the WWE creative process sucks.
- The infrastructure Vince has built (the writing and production teams, etc.) is killing the company.
- He pays Lesnar millions to ruin his company (quick comment)

Listened to the Ambrose interview in the car on the way home. Enjoyable.

Comes across not as a guy with an axe to grind, but as someone who has been completely worn down by the E's endless micromanagement, over-production, and just generally terrible creative.

Surprisingly relatable interview actually. I am sure anyone whose job involves any degree of supposed creative freedom will be able to appreciate nearly all of the gripes he mentioned.

Where are the best places to watch non-WWE wrestling? Stuff like RoH, New Japan etc.

I've watched a fair bit on fite.tv but is there a unified platform where I can pay a monthly subscription and get access to all PPVs - much like the WWE Network? I can't justify paying 20$ a pop for PPVs across several companies.

Most companies have their own service, all for around the same price. Short Google search will find them for you. If you want actual indies then Independent Wrestling TV and I guess Highspots have loads of it. WWN Live too.

There's no one catch-all for these companies, it wouldn't make any sense.

Paying three months of njpwworld subscription starting in June would give you Dominion, which is on the 9th, and the entire G1 which runs for a month across July and August. Those are probably their next biggest shows after Wrestle Kingdom in January. I'd just drop it after that, but I'd say if you have the money - it's worth it.

Fair enough. Was hoping logic would not prevail, haha. Thanks for the info.

Good shout. Does it have English commentary? (Not a deal breaker; just curious).
