I think there was genuinely a Smackdown exclusive fan base there for a good part of last year, tbf. Back when Talking Smack was immediately after it, Styles/Lynch/Miz, etc. all held championships at various points. It might've only been a small fraction of the total viewership, but it was there, IMO. Definitely feel like people frustrated with the product were gravitating towards it more so than RAW, and there was a bit of "smackdown is so much better" sentiment. That's why the post-shake up/Indian experiment Smackdown has been so disappointing.I'm beginning to remember why these brand split rivalry angles never really work. In order for people to really get invested in a one brand vs another brand angle you really need for those people to be either specific fans of RAW or specific fans of Smackdown. But these types of fans only exist in imagination land.
Yeah, and they'd make more money from their modelling anyway. Not a massive loss, but considering some of the other people still with the company, they could have easily been utilised in a better role. Summer should've been paired with Breezango ages ago, and Emma should have been a major player from the outset.Must suck for women, there's basically no indie scene for them. Suppose it's Impact or bust.
