Heyman would fail just like he did with Cesaro imo.

Keep nakamura's promos extremely short and he'll be fine. Can get by with his mannerisms and charisma. The problem is the other guy. If nakamura's not going to speak, the guy he's feuding with has to cut good promos and has to carry the feud when it comes to the story outside the ring. That's the issue. He has to be put in feuds against guys who are great on the mic, preferably heels. Guys like Miz, KO, Styles.

Just randomly watched the triple threat match from Armageddon 2008 where Jeff Hardy beat Edge and HHH for his first WWE title. Really good match. Surprisingly rarely spoken about, presumably because Jeff has been persona non grata for much of recent years.

HHH was an a-hole unsurprisingly during that time too. Kept beating Hardy and when the time came for Jeff to win the belt, it was a triple threat and HHH avoided the pinfall.

Yeah, completely right actually. One of his more forgotten about dick phases.

Anyway, House of Horrors was predictably dumb and hokey. No place for **** like that in the modern day, glad the fans crapped on it. Good that Jinder showed up at the end though, WAG.

Somehow got enticed into watching some of the Kliq and NWO stuff from back in the day. HBK was something else.

Not Terrible
I think I enjoyed House of Horrors more than Final Deletion, but thought it worked so much less well? Matt Hardys character was absurd so it worked, Brays character isn't.

Thought Payback sucked on the whole. House of Horrors was next level lame and wanted a clean split between Jericho and Kevin.

Nothing really did it for me all night.

Can't waste Strowman's momentum though. As it stands he looks a genuine threat to Brock and I think it could be quite good.

BARNES OUT
Will admit that I don't watch the week-to-week stuff but nothing about Strowman is even remotely interesting to me. Looks and acts like a gigantic ****ing idiot. Wouldn't have any fanfare if he was beating up any other dude on the WWE Roster.

Haha tbf you could probably say that about a lot of guys who have been successful over the years, even Austin/McMahon for instance. I get your point, but it's a bit of a "if my aunt had wheels she'd be a wagon criticism" imo.

Fair enough re: the looking/acting like an idiot observation though. I think that might be one of the reasons I quite like him though. Just a stupid meathead who beats on people.
